A few years ago we had to decide to give up photographing weddings. We were always "on-call" at weekends with the newborn photography we loved doing so much, and we were not getting enough time with our children! Something had to give! But we love a little serendipity, when it happens - don't you?! :-)
That meant that we did not have the pleasure of watching our couples turn into families :-( With Roisín & Michael, we cheated! We were asked to create an engagement portrait by her Mum and thereby got to know this couple before they came back to us for their newborn session a couple of years later!
It feels so natural when the connection has already been made, and sure enough, poor Michael was only in the door when Roisín and Catherine came up with the skin to skin shot, and the shirt was off!
We really can't emphasise enough how much it will mean to that little girl when she sees the images with her Mummy and Daddy enchanted with her. Please do let us try to capture the magic bond that only exists in your family! We have never been disappointed with a parent's reaction yet.
There is a softness and vulnerability about a new parent that we are so respectful about. We promise that if you are not thrilled with your images celebrating you as new parents, NO-ONE will ever see them.
